The Area

During Victorian times, Penarth grew up as a home to shipping magnates working out of Cardiff and Penarth docks and holiday destination for local people and those as far afield as the Midlands and the West Country. The town still retains all the charm and character of that era, something reflected in the exquisite Victorian and Edwardian architecture, the traditional pier and manicured gardens and parks.

Modern Penarth is still a very popular place to live and is more famous for the excellent schools including Stanwell, St Cyres and Westbourne House as well as numerous Primary Schools. The town also has a wide range of places to live encompassing a number of architectural styles. From the Victorian and Edwardian mansions right the way through to the modern developments of Penarth Marina and Caversham Park there is certain to be the right property for you.

Penarth is only 5 miles from the centre of Cardiff and provides an excellent place to live in and commute from for those working in the city centre and is providing a real haven of independent shops and boutiques for people looking to spend the day experience the charm of a bustling seaside town high street.

In no particular order, these are some of the people we think make Penarth such a great place to live.
